Where to stay in Florence

I’m a big lover of the old-world charm

1. Ambasciatori

Never fully knowing what you walk into when booking a hotel, despite researching and reading reviews, I am relieved every time I enter a hotel room to find out it is as perfect as could be – that's the feeling I had when I stayed at the Ambasciatori Hotel in Florence. As soon as you enter the wide entrance hall and reception you are welcomed by the friendly staff. I won’t make it a secret that I’m a big lover of the old-world charm and I just felt thrown a little bit back in time when I entered our room. The whole room associates perfectly to that certain charm of Florence which you will find everywhere in the city.

The hotel is located directly at the main station and is equally close to many of the main attractions

Exploring that our room had a balcony, further improved the hotel's ranking for me. Waking up in the morning, opening the window as the vibrancy and liveliness of this city greets you, fully convinced me to the very last bit. The hotel is located directly at the main station and is equally close to many of the main attractions, making it easy for you to reach everything by foot. I must say, this hotel fully convinced me and I can highly recommend it – but of course it’s up to you to make your own experiences ;)
